Year 3 – Week 3 – Day 3

This was a great day right up until the end when my plastic insulated straw cup with a screw on lid burst open when I tried to move it and ice cold water sprayed me, the couch and my laptop. I guess the lid wasn’t screwed on correctly.
Even though I acted quickly, the machine had a keyboard protector, and there were only droplets on the laptop… it locked up, I shut it down and now it won’t turn on.
It looks like there is an expensive trip to the Apple store in my future. 🙁 It seriously makes me want to cry.

I am using Bill’s computer to upload all of these awesome pictures from today.

Brendan tried out his new pocket onesie and it worked well. I just have a few tweaks to do when I make more. He was walking in and out of the kitchen, turning the corner and everything.

Trevor went grocery shopping with me this morning. He is such a great helper.

Trevor loves his dogs. Eins is so tolerant, I am impressed. Eins gets a hug and a kiss.

While Bill mowed the lawn, I kept the boys inside for lunch and play time. I gave Brendan a fruit cup in jello. He actually liked stabbing it.

After eating, we changed to “playing in the snow”. The $2 I spent at the yard sale for that snow cone machine was money well spent!! A few cups, some trucks and tons of shaved ice at the push of a button, hours of entertainment!

The most awesome part about snow is cleanup is a breeze!

(PS Gramma, Creme de Menthe syrup is REALLY good on shaved ice!!)

We are on Year 3, Week 3, Day 3. If 666 is evil, 333 must just be naughty. Here are some naughty pictures to celebrate.

Year 3 – Week 3 – Day 2

It was an exciting day for Trevor today. Bill took him on an outing to do his first desert “hiking” trip! He took some great pictures too.

Trevor loves rocks and dirt. He claims this rock for Trevorland!

He doesn’t care about the scenery, he is just looking for cool rocks

He is channeling his inner mountain goat

Brendan and I stayed home and played and worked on mass onesie production. I made three today and spent some time developing an idea for a g-tube pouch/pocket. I got a prototype done, it has to go through the laundry and then we will see how it works tomorrow!

Brendan loves to practice his walking in the evening. He is getting more stable every day.

Year 3 – Week 3 – Day 1

It was a busy busy day of running errands. We dropped off about 6 big garbage bags full of clothes and shoes and stuff at the Salvation Army, it felt really good to de-clutter. Trevor and I hit Target and I let him walk without a cart. He explored the entire store, but behaved very well. I got my exercise and wore him out too.

The nice thing about Target is that Trevor knows where to find the vacuum isle. If I ever were to lose track of him, I would know where to go to find him. 😉

He is currently obsessed with all things blue. He points out the blue vacuums.

He is such a good helper. He had to carry in the watermelon that he picked out.

Brendan is modeling a new onesie that is hand made by his Mommy! It took me four tries to get it right, but I now have a good pattern and I can make him a bunch. Why onesies at his age? He has a horrible habit of scratching his back and his g-tube button when he is anxious and he scratches himself all red. He is too tall for anything I can find so I had to make them custom!

He was having fun with this dollar store cowboy hat tonight too

“Howdy, ma’am!”

“There’s a snake in my boot!”
