As much as we love Brendan and hate to say it, that baby had a funk about him. Not being bathed ever in his life other than sponge baths with washcloths – it tends to make a baby a bit sticky.

We had to change his whole ostomy pouch and base out today, so what a perfect time to dunk him in the sink with some bubbles. He was amazingly tolerant of our poking, prodding and peeling. And then he LOVED floating in the warm water.

So much skin! Just a little tape left.

One piece footed jammies with snaps are just about all Brendan can wear at the moment. But is that so bad?

This clothing thing is still new to him

Having a bath really relaxed him, so it is nap time.

Now he is all clean and pretty to go to meet his pediatrician today. We received the delivery of his travel O2 bottles in a pouch so it should be too bad. I hope he doesn’t get shots today, he is having such a nice calm day so far!
