I don’t even have the time to go in to all of the chaos that abounded today. We were supposed to have a couple of easy in-home appointments and it turned in to a whole day of waiting on people, people rescheduling, coming and going, and people not showing up. It irks me to no end when you sit and wait on someone and it keeps you from getting things done you would otherwise be doing.
No call, no show and I could have had lots of errands done if I wasn’t sitting at home waiting for the doorbell! If it wasn’t the door, it was the phone. We are in a tsunami of nursing changes this week but we have it figured out for tonight. One day at a time.
The boys were oblivious to all the chaos today. At least it wasn’t about Brendan’s health. Brendan actually did a great job today with his therapy exercises and tummy time. He likes sitting on his new table.

He is learning to bear weight on his legs, and gets a little stronger every day!

He gets a lot of playtime with Trevor now. It is so good to see them doing things together!

I was just making up a number the other day when I mentioned Trevor’s 45 minute nap stunt. But then today he made it a reality. In the entire day, he only napped about 45 minutes. He was just very wound up. Getting in to trouble nonstop today!

I decided that since he likes the neighbor’s house so much, the weather has been mild, and I wanted to get out, I took Trevor to the Christmas light show at the zoo! We went early so we were there right when it opened at 6PM and he was home in bed before 8PM. He LOVED it!!
I had to take him in the whale stroller! We got funny looks with the front folded down, but Trevor was very comfy!

His little hands were cool but he wouldn’t keep anything on them. He had to have them free for pointing!

He was tired but stayed awake for the whole trip!

A video of the lake music show:
Trevor liked watching the carousel.
The car ride home was it, this baby was so super sound asleep!
I am pooped too! More about chaos tomorrow, I am going to bed!

What a great light show. I am sure he enjoyed it as I ure did. They are both growing so fast and it is so good to see Brendan working on his weight bearing exercises. He looks all smiles with each new challenge. What great progress he is making. What a blessing for the holidays to have them to share in all there is…..Good job
Brendan is so proud of himself sitting on the little table and he is learning to stand, yah. The Christmas lights at the zoo are wonderful and it looks like Trevor really enjoyed them. Hope today goes better, people are just not thoughtful at all anymore. Take care of you.
