Year 4 – Week 2 – Day 3

I had to do an update today because we made a visit to the pulmonologist’s office. She is very happy with his progress. He was 36.25 inches tall and weighed 28.6lbs. She supports my decision to keep him out of a classroom preschool setting. He is supposed to keep going as is, keeping the vent for support all winter, and then when we see her again in March we can make a plan for decannulation.

This afternoon, the boys were outside digging. (again) They had to come tell me that they discovered “treasure”. They all revealed a large piece of an old defunct network of lawn sprinklers. Excavation and removal kept them busy for a while!

Year 4 – Week 2 – Day 2

Today was the day we have been waiting for since May. It was the first day that the temperatures were so nice that the air conditioning did not run once all day. We just had all the windows opened up. It was in the mid 70s and partly cloudy all day. PERFECT
We just did housework and played in the dirt. The boys even had to break out hoodies this morning.

Since I have no other photos for today, it is a good time to post some more cute outtakes from last weekend’s photo shoots.

It is also a good time to say that going forward, I am not going to commit to a blog post every day. For three years, a week, and a day, I have posted something. Rain or shine, hospital, surgery, illness, travel, no sleep, no internet.. I always found a way to write for the day.
Now that nap time is gone, the boys are getting up earlier, and I have taken on several other big projects, I need to reclaim some of the time I spend blogging.
Other than the few dedicated commenters, I don’t even know who is reading this anymore.

I will continue to do an update any time I have cute pictures or important news. I will update at least once a week. I can’t imagine a day without a blog post at this point, but I can’t go on posting about doing laundry again and again!

Year 4 – Week 2 – Day 1

Saying goodbye is never easy. Gramma made it home safely this afternoon and we already miss her. It isn’t the constant working, cleaning, tidying, and helping… of course that is greatly appreciated! It is that these boys will never have to doubt for a second that she loves them to pieces!
