It has been a long week. Last Wednesday, I had to take Trevor to the doctor for an infection on his little rear cheek. The doctor suspects it is MRSA, and it turned a normal little pimple in to a badly abscessed boil with cellulitis. He was in a lot of pain. Some strong antibiotics have taken care of it, but in the meantime, we have had to shelter Brendan. We have to bleach the tub and potty after every use and try not to let Brendan touch anything “contaminated”.
We were otherwise very busy.
Tuesday lunch at IKEA. “Pink PopJuice” is half lingonberry and half Sierra Mist. Yum!

Brendan likes his gravy “kitty style”, aka lapped up from a saucer

There was a huge sale on annual passes for the Sealife Aquarium, so we bought some. The boys each got their own photo ID membership card. I will have to take pictures, they are cute. The boys have been through 3 times already. Brendan loves stingrays and Trevor likes the touch pools best.

We had dinner out. Trevor is serious about his shaky cheese on his spaghetti.

Bill took the boys on a roadtrip to Flagstaff so that I could finish some big projects in peace. They went to the Pioneer Museum, which included touring an old train engine and caboose.

We picked up a small pile of Legos from Craigslist. 🙂 😀 So far we have built four cool models and still sorting.

Today was ice cream day at Sam’s Club. They were giving Klondike bars out to anyone that made a donation to the children’s hospital.

At another store, we found this crazy pillow in the Clearance section. Brendan’s all time favorite Legos are police sets, especially the bad guys. We had to buy it.

Brendan is demonstrating how well it works to lounge and play police Legos. This is “Baby Police Station” and the other set is called “Big Big Big Big Big Police Station”.

Our five straight days with no nurse went well, even with Trevor’s infection. Brendan slept all five nights in his new bed in the bedroom. Trevor is liking having a roommate so far.
We are still waiting on the official report from the sleep study, but the doctor wrote the official prescription to have the ventilator picked up by the equipment company. EEK!
We are frantically preparing for a busy couple of weeks. Thursday, Trevor and I are getting on a plane to head to Libertyville for the weekend! Then we bring Kayla home with us. She will be joined a few days later by Aunt Heather and Ashley. We will have lots of excitement!
