The week has been lost in tubes, meds, and the sounds of pumps running (mist, nebulizer, suction, etc).

Trevor just can’t handle it when the butter melts in to his waffle.

I think we’ve finally turned a corner. Today Brendan wore his cap for a few hours. We still are not back to pre-procedure days by a long shot.
We did manage a trip to Costco this afternoon. Too early for Halloween costumes??

Brendan is obsessed with everything super hero. Iron Man and Batman are his top favorites. If you introduce a new character, Brendan’s line of questioning always goes:
“Is he a good guy?”
“Is he an astronaut?”
“Can he climb walls?”
Brendan picked Batman over Iron Man this time. I thought for sure Trevor would choose Spiderman, but he picked Ultron.

He wanted to be Ultron but insisted that he would wear the costume only if Ultron was a good guy.

He didn’t want to be scary at all.

Brendan wore his costume for at least 5 hours.

Trevor shed his to go dig in dirt instead.

There was a little problem with the sprinkler system in the back yard. Turns out a tree root was to blame.

Batman really wanted to be outside helping and he did not want his muscle shirt taken off. But padded polyester and 100 degrees do not mix.

I haven’t heard an update from the doctors at all yet. More waiting ahead.
