Year 3 – Week 6 – Day 3

When people say that they had a crappy day, they usually mean it in the generally negative sense, not the literal one. Today for us was literally a crappy day! There were two distinct and unprecedented poop incidents today. I love my boys too much to torture their future selves with the details, but I can only say that I might have gagged multiple times. Beyond gross.

Other than that, it was a pretty good day. We finally decorated our little tree. Trevor thought the garland was a great highway for some trucks.

He “helped” put it on the tree. He tells me “good helper”

All done, it looks really cute with the bubble lights this year

Since I have been short on Brendan pictures, I took a bunch during bath time tonight. He was dunking trucks and dumping them out over and over and loving it. I couldn’t pick the cutest ones, so I posted them all.

Trevor and I went out and bought some new outdoor lights today, Bill will be working on getting them up soon!

Year 3 – Week 6 – Day 2

I didn’t realize until I sat down to do this blog that I didn’t take any Brendan pictures today. We had so much to do today, I didn’t think about the camera.

I only snapped some pictures of Trevor’s astounding bed-head this morning. I couldn’t decide which pictures were the cutest so I just posted them all.

The boys had a simple day, we did a lot of chores and projects. I took Trevor on a long bike ride at night to see if anyone spent black friday putting up lights. At least 3 houses on every block had something up, and Trevor was very excited. The weather was perfect for riding.

Year 3 – Week 6 – Day 1

The trouble with having a slow day and trying to take it easy is that the boys get much more well rested than we do. They were recharged and ready to GO!! We have a nurse out on leave now and no replacement in sight yet, so I was on my own with them a good part of the day.

Crazies

We spread and sorted toys, it is a go-to activity for me because it always needs to get done and it helps keep them busy

So cute!

I like to sit in a chair like this too

With the lowering kits installed, we were ready to take the new bikes for a spin this afternoon!
306t05

They aren’t ready to go very fast, but Trevor is trying out the knee and elbow pads that Gramma got him. They fit nice! He calls them his knee helmets. I know he is going to need these!
306t04

Gramma also got baskets and bells for the bikes. Brendan loves the flick-style bell with the compass.

Don’t laugh at Brendan’s outfit! We were headed outside and it was cool, so we grabbed the first soft pants we saw. They don’t match at all!

Trevor is learning really fast how to balance and walk with his bike. I was impressed!

I haven’t put the decals on the bikes yet. The baskets came with a big circle one to put on the front, I think I need to make a custom sticker instead!
