Year 2 – Week 16 – Day 5

I am super tired and in the middle of several things at once so I won’t get too wordy tonight.

I’ll just post this super-cuteness video compilation of Trevor practicing his walking in shoes. It was rainy out today so he only got to walk on the patio and up and down the hall.

He really wanted to go outside!

Bill just put up a frame he made today to hold the oxygen tanks in the corner. Good thing too because walking Trevor was very interested in them!

Brendan is determined to catch up to Trevor!

He fell asleep around 5:30PM and just woke up around 8:30 ready to play. Bill is determined to wear him out so that he sleeps tonight! They are doing lots of standing practice. Brendan is pretty excited about it.

Flying too!

Year 2 – Week 16 – Day 4

This will be a short short post, I only took a couple of pictures today!

Bill was gone for a good part of the day so the boys kept me very busy. Both of them had big nap fails and were up way too quickly.

Trevor is wearing his lightweight nap jammies. He has been sleeping better in jammies, then he gets dressed when he wakes up.

Brendan went through 4 bibs today and soaked them with drool. I sure wish that tooth would come in, it is ridiculous how slobbery he is lately!

I had one of those moments of panic today wondering about how I am going to handle them as they both get more mobile. Trevor walked 50 laps around the whole house today just holding one hand. He would have a total meltdown if I dared try to guide him back in to the gated living room area.
He is starting to stand up with nothing to pull up on and just take off walking. He does nice controlled bends and turns too.
I just have to remember… one day at a time. We have always found a way to get by.

Year 2 – Week 16 – Day 3

The boys got a lot of Daddy-time today while I worked on finishing up some very old projects. It feels good to close out some things that have been part-done for a couple of years.

Trevor was a little off-season today. (Not Daddy’s doing!) These adorable jammies were the perfect weight and size for the weather today and they won’t fit him when next Halloween comes around. So he was my little pumpkin today. Once it warms up, these will have to go in the cousin-box.

The little pumpkin got a Valentine’s card in the mail today from Gramma! (Trevor loves to go to the mailbox every day)

And now he wants me to take him shopping! (We are going out tomorrow anyway)

Brendan loved his card too. He played with it for a long time.

Then he went back to the book that makes noise!

Eins is on the other side of the window playing peek with Trevor

Definitely time for some child-proof doorknob covers.
