Trevor had a sound night of sleep and then woke up EXTREMELY energetic. Maybe it is a side effect of the medication, maybe just a good night of rest.
He was bouncing off the walls 20 times more crazy than normal Trevor.
After about two hours, he was wound down to this level. The video has some from this morning and some from this evening.

I got a good night of rest because Bill took over my night shift with Brendan. I still have a cough but feel much better. Hopefully we all get better this time.

This was a long and painful blur of a day. It started at 1:30 this morning when Trevor had a severe croup attack. We would have been in the ER if it wasn’t for some of the medical equipment we had in the house.
It was 65 degrees outside so that was not helpful. I had to drive him around in the car just to get him to stop panicking enough to assess the situation.

We made it through the night with him wearing Brendan’s mist collar. This mist right on his face is the only way he could breathe. I slept from about 6am-8:30am and then woke up with flu like symptoms. I feel as though I have a really high fever but my temp is normal. My whole body has been aching and tired and it hurts to cough and breathe deeply.
Brendan is still doing OK, he isn’t back to 100% but he is getting there.

We got him in to the doctor this morning for another dose of Dexamethasone. The NP thinks I should have gone to the ER, but I am glad we made it through the night. We don’t need the exposure to all of that, we have plenty of bugs in the house.

We wish a very happy birthday to Aunt Heather K today. I am sorry it falls on such a yucky blog day!

Brendan continues to improve, but now Trevor’s nose is plugged solid again and he had trouble sleeping. I don’t know if it is the same bug or a new one. I thought he was better!
