Week 47 – Day 7

Quick update – Brendan was feeling a bit lethargic and extra suctiony today. (that’s a word in this house). He is feeling the drug change from Friday. He did do a good job for physical therapy today. He has made good progress, even with the surgery in the way. His new priorities are tummy time, tummy time, tummy time. He needs to improve his tummy time skills and weight bearing in his knees and legs.

He is good at kicking his legs! He still has plenty of silly in him this week.

Trevor has sore gums and hits some seriously cranky spells that you wouldn’t believe. He has a mad little growl/scream that makes him sound possessed.

I don’t know what is cuter: Trevor’s “begging for a bite of your dinner” face…

…or Trevor’s little chew face

Hopefully Trevor’s tooth that is bothering him will pop in!

Week 47 – Day 6

It has been a very long weekend with very little sleeping, so it is a quick blog tonight with some cute pictures.

Trevor didn’t want to nap this afternoon and he was pretty cranky all day. We finally discovered why he doesn’t want to sleep!

Did I mention that he was up and ready to go at 5am? Of all days not to sleep until at least his regular time of 6:50am.

Two naughty cellmates in baby jail

Brendan decided to do everything he could to keep Daddy from playing xbox.

He’s getting stronger every day! (still he does not sit unsupported, but soon!)

We tried an experiment tonight. We put a tub in a tub so that Brendan could go crazy with his wild kick-splashes. The last few nights, he has really soaked the living room. He thought the new surrounds were interesting, but he did not splash as much.

I am looking forward to bed!

Week 47 – Day 5

We are so excited that the weather is finally breaking! It was a nice cool morning for a change, so we were able to sit out on the front patio. Trevor used to have his breakfast bottle on the patio every morning but then it just got too hot. It is nice to get out of the living room where we spend the majority of our time now.

(I know, I am way beyond needing a haircut)

Just in time for better weather, the boys received a wonderful gift from their Grandpa Jack.

Some assembly was required, it is a good thing that Trevor was around to help!

Trevor tightens the wheel

They are ready to roll! We see lots of zoo trips with this in our future.

Because Brendan liked playing piano so much in the hospital, we had to get him a piano to play at home too

It makes him want to sing!

Trevor loves the buttons

Even pushing buttons with his toes is fun.

Tonight after Brendan’s bath, he was just looking too cute all wrapped in towels.
