It is unusual for Bill to be in the office on a Thursday so I was totally thrown off and had no idea what day it was. Brendan’s night nurse stayed until noon again to help out. It makes a huge difference in the morning.
I had just enough fleece material left from the projects in the boys’ bedroom that I was able to cover the two new chairs and one of the ottomans with a quick slip cover. I made one late last night and one this morning because Trevor slept in until 8:30am!! It was crazy. He was up a couple of times during the night so he must have been tired!
I love this fleece but it totally does not work in the living room, and I actually really liked the plain chocolate brown on the chairs. I will look for a better material but in the meantime, at least the chairs are protected! Brendan’s chair has a chux pad under the cover so it is doubly protected!

I was trying to get a cute picture of Brendan in his chair but I was just in the way of his Yo Gabba Gabba!

They both still really like their chairs!

Brendan did lots of tummy time on the floor this afternoon. He finally was able to get his knee under himself all by himself. He is really motivated to get mobile!

Back to keeping the babies occupied by doing something totally new and different, Trevor got his tools and took apart the jungle!

Brendan just watched and chewed a wrench.

This is what the jungle saucer is meant to do when the babies outgrow it. It should be a play table that they can walk up to. Not only was it far too big like this, but it was incredibly unstable. Trevor was trying to climb on it to get over the fence, he was pulling it over, moving it around, crawling underneath it and messing up the legs.
The jungle was very cool and we definitely got our use out of it, but it is time to say goodbye! Right now, I moved it to Trevor’s room until we decide what to do with it.

Brendan says, “Enough work, bring on the afternoon movie!!” (We watched The Little Mermaid)

He loves Ursula the Sea Witch singing.

I put the chairs together to see if the boys would play in their little “boat”

They were both being very silly

Evidence of silliness in video. I love the way Brendan tries to get Trevor’s attention. He can push a little sound past his trach and he makes a little honk like a silly little goose.
Something else really huge happened today. That poor little priority mail package that I mailed on January 29th finally made it to Gramma’s doorstep! She had to send me a picture or I wasn’t going to believe it!

The funniest part was when she opened the box, Trevor had slipped in a present of his own that I didn’t know about (His little purple baby spoon from lunch that day!) He knew Gramma collected spoons and I guess he wanted her to have it. She had to hang it in one of her spoon cabinets just for him!

We are all just relieved that the package arrived safely!
