Year 2 – Week 19 – Day 4

Where did the weekend go? I had made a list of things to accomplish and I didn’t finish a single one. Brendan was the hero of the weekend though, and I am so happy that he has accomplished so much.

Little Superman did not feel like doing much today. I think I wore him out yesterday and he just wanted to play.

He will use his Superman strength to pull off his mist collar.

This video isn’t exactly what we were going for, but he is showing off his pivoting and scooting.

Brendan amazed me with his ability to use the iPad. He is playing “Endless Alphabet” (Thanks Joelle for turning us on to that one!). The goal is to drag the letters to their place in the word. He isn’t at that level yet, but he sure likes touching and dragging the letters and their responses. Great silly app! The second one is a stacking game and he startled me with how well he learned how to do it!

Trevor had to go grocery shopping with me this morning, then bath, then lunch, then nap. When he woke up, we had put up a new board to hold the magnetic alphabet game.

He went straight to tippy-tip toes to try to bite the pen holder off the top of the board.

He got a new truck at the store and ran it up and down the room

New day, new way to sit in chair.

Fire engine baby, fire blanket

We are waiting for fire blanket pictures of cousin Kieran!

Brendan chomping on drawers. He played quietly in the toybox most of the afternoon and had a great day!

We all send big warm sunshiny hugs to Grampa Dusty and hopes that he feels better soon.
