Year 2 – Week 27 – Day 6

Wouldn’t you know that on the day that I was sick and needed rest the most, Trevor woke up super early. He stands in his crib and opens and closes the drawers on his dresser now. 5:45am – BANG! BANG!
Other than having fever aches, chills, and hot flashes, I was just tired. The morning was tough but we got through and I started feeling a little better. I got a nap in while the boys napped.

Trevor was a little stinker but it could have been worse. He didn’t feel like using his friends the broom and dustpan when they were called for.

He has a little garbage truck buddy now to go outside and wait for the garbage truck to come down the street. We have a truck alert system in place now. Awesome neighbor Bailey sends me a text message when the truck goes by her house 11 doors down so that we can get outside in time!

There it is! He loves when it comes around the corner to do the other side of the street.

Here’s some new Trevor tricks that I didn’t need today!

Brendan wonders what Trevor is doing in his crib!

He is going to be a climber too, as soon as he is strong enough!

That face just says trouble!

After baths tonight, it was mani-pedi time. Baby Signing time videos and a silly headlamp make it very easy!

There is nothing planned for tomorrow so it would be nice to have some kind of outing. Hopefully we all feel well tomorrow!

Year 2 – Week 27 – Day 5

Days like today totally throw me off because we had PT this morning. It was just moved for the week because of a schedule conflict. Brendan had all kinds of things to show off, but decided to cry most of the session instead!

Trevor ran through the variety of his Monday faces during breakfast.

Monkey see..

Breakfast is boring when you don’t eat

Brendan gets half way up the slide all by himself. He surprised me the first time!

He actually steps on with both feet and starts trying to climb up! I have to drop everything and assist him so he doesn’t wipe out.

Trevor reminds me that he is still the climber extraordinaire

Brendan likes to sit and read books (Trevor tries to eat books)

Trevor had to go with me to the specialty pharmacy to get Brendan’s med refills. He loved the fountain out front. Bill and I have passed this fountain so many times, a different lifetime ago.

He did NOT want to get in the car to go home!

I got down on the floor to play with the boys and Brendan decided that I made a very comfortable chair to sit on to reach the workbench. Then I got tackled by a Trevor too. Sillies!

I started feeling bad this afternoon, achey and chilled. I have a fever of 99.4 presently and I am super tired. Not sure what it is yet, but so far the boys are not feverish. Maybe it is what Brendan just had. It is a good thing evenings around here are so nice and quiet and relaxing…

I have help with Brendan tomorrow, I hope Trevor is nice to me and does not get sick too! We want poor cousin Kayla to feel better fast too!

Year 2 – Week 27 – Day 4

We were super busy today and I just didn’t pick up the camera. As I finished up Brendan’s bath tonight, I realized I hadn’t taken any pictures! It was bedtime!

I only had this one bad shot on my cell phone from errands we ran today. Trevor goes crazy laughing and talking to himself in the mirror in the car.

Bill gave Trevor his bath. Then Trevor worked on sorting some mail and clipping coupons while he waited for his bedtime milk to settle.

Sunday is always trach change day. Chewing on the old tube is always a necessity.

Part of Trevor’s bedtime ritual is saying good night to his brother

Brendan stood up with that cube and then cruised along the couch to steal my phone. His cruising is getting better!

It is good when there is nothing big to write about!
