I feel like lately these days have enough to fill 3 or 4 blog posts. I take too many pictures! This was a big day and it started with something a little fishy going on…

Trevor just watched things start to unfold

Toylandia has been swallowed by The Nothing!

Trevor gets sent to front patio baby jail!

“Hey, what is he doing out here?”

Wow, he is doing his best “please save me” puppy face

Out comes the crooked, old, weird-sized, non-insulating doors! In goes the fancy, high efficiency, dual-pane, standard sized, mini-blinds-between-the glass doors. It has been a 6yr project getting all of the windows and doors in the house upgraded bit by bit.

In addition to grocery shopping this morning, I took Trevor out to Target to get away from the noise of construction. Brendan handled it pretty well as long as Bill was with him. Trevor took some of his hard earned garage sale money and picked out a new remote control car for babies. I don’t know who liked it more, the boys or the daddy.

Brendan was in full hysterics chasing Trevor chasing the car. He laughed so hard he almost fell over. He liked chasing it too.

When I went to make dinner and feed Trevor, somebody crawled himself over to watch what was going on!

He likes the dog!

Eins likes babies behind bars!

Trevor loves spicy taco meat and makes a giant mess feeding himself sweet potato puree. Good thing we have moved his bath time to the evening.

Like Trevor would say.. “taadaaaa”. Now we just have to repaint the living room wall. I have to think about what color to make it. The paint on it now is a multi-stage faux finish and we don’t have the paints to patch it. We might have to live with it like this for a while!

The only other interesting news to report is that Brendan had an accidental decannulation (removal of trach tube). He has been pulling at it on purpose and I expect that we will have a lot of fun putting it back in all the time soon.
But this happened while he was sleeping. He was tossing and turning and getting caught up in his tubing and it just pulled it wrong and the tube popped out. I woke up to the sound of strange crying at 5am! His nurse got it put back in place quickly and he went back to sleep.
It is one of those things that we knew was coming. He is going to be a bigger and bigger stinker as he gets more active and stronger!
