I am thrilled to report that I am doing the blog on my own laptop tonight. It will still need to go in for service because the battery does not want to charge, but it is booting and working beautifully for now. We opened it up and took the hard drive out in order to do backups and all my data is intact. WOOOO! I can sleep better now. I can’t tell you how relieved I am.
I don’t know how I did it, but I got through a whole day without any Brendan pictures. He had a great day, but I was so busy and I thought I had taken some.
I had two meetings today with his service and support people. The good news is we are not losing any nursing hours this cycle, and we updated his IFSP with new goals.
This is a Trevor-full blog and it should be, I am very proud of him. He slept beautifully through the night in his big boy bed! There were just a couple of spycam pictures to share!
Oops!

Trevor played with his Christmas train while we waited for the first meeting. Things got rescheduled so much, I didn’t know for sure if anyone was going to show up.

We convinced Bill to take a lunch break and join us for a quick run to IKEA between meetings.

We waited and waited for the garbage truck, but it was late today. In the meantime, I tried to get Trevor to say Happy Birthday to Aunt Erin. As you can see, it didn’t go as planned.
I was expecting four people for the IFSP meeting at 12:30p, so I had to get Trevor down for his nap before they showed. He missed the garbage truck. He passed the ultimate test though. He heard it, he did get out of bed and try to go look but he did not mess with the window blinds. He was only out of bed for about 30 seconds before he raced back and jumped in again.
He was really obviously bummed about it being outside where he could not see, but he did not cry and he went to sleep as soon as it was gone. I am so happy that he is doing so well!

Speaking of sleeping…it looks like there are Brendan pictures after all. It is 10:20pm and he is still up and playing games. He refuses to sleep, even after Bill rocked and patted him for 45 minutes.

He is poking and licking Brobee’s eyes.

Now that this is done, I have to go try to convince him to sleep!!
Happy Birthday, Aunt Erin! Hope it was a good one!
