Year 3 – Week 4 – Day 4

Poor Trevor. Bill wanted to upgrade his bed border to a pool noodle instead of my towel roll. The noodle is a little thicker, but it is too slippery and it moves under the sheet too much. So at 4:15am, the camera sent me this series.

The solution? I took the flannel blankets and wrapped them around the pool noodle and then put it back under his sheet. I think that gives it the bulk, weight, and friction that is necessary to keep that kid in the bed!!
Tonight he is out cold!

We survived another Mommy-alone day and it went pretty well. We went outside while it was so nice. Brendan wanted to go knock on the door to get Daddy.

Trevor points his finger and yells at Brendan when he is getting in to trouble, it is super cute.
They know they are not supposed to go down the side of the house.

Brendan’s favorite thing today was the glitter wand

…and swinging of course

Mommy got her Christmas present from all the boys early!! It arrived in a giant box this morning and Bill put it together for me after work today. It was a lot of work to assemble, after dinner I was going to give it a quick spin around.
I decided to throw Trevor in real quick, but he was not dressed, so I just threw a blanket on him. (It was still 70+ degrees outside)

Brendan got a quick ride too!

Both boys loved it, signed “more” and “again” and then cried when we took them out of the seat.
Now we are so ready for people to put up Christmas lights, we will be doing some light tours!
It makes me want to get a second one for Bill so we can go out as a family.
I love the trike for riding with the boys. It is so much more stable, I can put oxygen and the suction machine in the basket and I don’t have to worry about trying to hold the bike upright and suction at the same time.
The front child seat is the coolest thing ever!! I L-O-V-E riding with them right there like that, and they are not in the way at all.
I am excited, tomorrow we will take a ride down the canal and see what all the construction trucks are up to lately. 🙂 Maybe we will hunt the garbage truck too!
