Year 3 – Week 11 – Day 7

We know that things are getting back to “normal” for us when the silliness comes back. Prepare for big silliness in this blog post.

Trevor and I ran errands this morning and when we got back, the garbage truck had picked up the recycling on our side of the street but not the other. Usually, there is about 10-15 minutes in between, so we decided to wait. And wait…and wait.
Trevor had to pass some time.

I worked super hard with every spare minute I could find in the day to make more progress on the play room. Trevor even helped. We did a little art project in the yard. You will have to wait for the finished pictures though!

I did more taping, drywall repair, touch ups, caulking, and prepped the new window sill Bill installed. (Oak, not drywall, for holding up to “vehicular” traffic)

Brendan had a good day too. He ATE an entire 3oz pouch of pureed pears today. It was spread out over several bites over the whole day, but he really liked it. We are so excited to see him trying foods and liking new tastes.
I didn’t get to take pictures until he was in the tub.

He would have a huge fit if I tried to take this pump stem away from him. It isn’t soapy, it is a well rinsed one they play with.

He also loves this squeaky lollipop and wants it to fly like a rocket

He wants to drink falling water like he sees Trevor do!

The silliness peaks with these post-bath antics

I am super tired, but it is all for good reasons!
