I don’t feel like typing much. The day was OK, Brendan had some rough spells and threw up twice. Here are a handful of cute pictures.

Year 3 – Week 18 – Day 7
Trevor always asks to go to IKEA. He really likes the escalator and elevator. Today, we needed a few more light bulbs, so we went!
An error at checkout meant that we had to go wait in line for the customer service desk to get back the $7 overcharge. They have things for kids to do while waiting.

He asked for his meatball kids meal with mashed potatoes, plus a view of the freeway to count trucks

Brendan was getting shaken at home. He didn’t have any throw-ups today.

Trevor was getting shaggy around the ears and his morning bed-head has been phenomenal. We thought Gramma would be here for a hair cut, but it can’t wait until she comes out in April! I took the highchair with the back off and put it on the floor. I was able to sit and work on his head from all sides. It went pretty well!

I just fed him M&M’s to encourage him to be good. He watched Dumbo and sat so well for all of my fumbling with scissors and clippers. I was surprised at how well he did! All done!

Mr. Super Helper vacuumed up all of the hair

I can say that my blending could use some work, but I hope that by the time Trevor is old enough to care about what his hair looks like, that I will have had enough practice to do it well. 🙂
Year 3 – Week 18 – Day 6
I didn’t take a single picture today, just a video of post-bath antics.
I asked Trevor if he wanted to go to “The scissor store” with me (fabric store with giant pair of scissors over cutting table). He proceeded to tell me about the guy on the scissor lift that was changing out light bulbs the last time that we were there. I am impressed every day at how well Trevor is remembering things! On the way home, he asked me to go to IKEA because he wanted to ride the escalator. He also learned how to say “fire extinguisher” and does a really good job with pronunciation.
Brendan had PT today. His newest instructions have him doing some “step aerobics” to strengthen his hip flexors, quads and knees. He loves the step up and step down game, so it should be an easy assignment.
Brendan isn’t fully recovered yet, but he is doing better.
