Year 3 – Week 43 – Day 5

The first day on the road, we didn’t leave the RV park until 8:00am but we made good time. The boys did a great job in the car again, and we got back to our friends’ home in Missouri before 6:00PM.

Can you tell Brendan was licking honey mustard pretzels?

When he makes his face all yellow, I tell him he looks like an oompa-loompa

It feels like we never left Missouri, the week went by so fast. The guinea fowl were right there begging Trevor as soon as we arrived.

The puppies were happy to see the boys again

I forgot to post these from my phone from the first day we were in town. Gramma and her boys were having their first frozen cokes together.

We are going to stretch out driving across four days this time depending on where we can find to stop. This evening’s meltdown was pretty crazy. Time for bed!

  1. My house was much too quiet today! Even Gizmo was looking and waiting for someone to come in. 🙂 After you left last night I thought of all of the things that I was supposed to give you to take with you…of course!
I visited Great-Grandma today and did her hair for her. It made her feel better and look a lot better, too. She asked about you and said she thought you were leaving tomorrow instead of today. She is still very sick, but with her done and a nice altered dress on, she looked much better. Thanks, Tiffanie and Heather, for the alterations!
I love the picture of the boys and me with our Sam’s Club frozen cokes! I can’t believe how well Brendan does with a straw…until he bites it shut!
I’m so glad that your first day went well. I hope tomorrow is another good day.
It feels as though you have been gone a week already! As I have said so many times before, I always feel better when I know when the next time is that I will see you and the boys. I would love to be there for the boys’ birthday. I have to wait and see how things go here before I can book a ticket.
Lots of love and hugs and kisses, wishing I could give them personally,
    Gramma xxxx
