I want to wish a very happy Mother’s Day to my mom, all of my sisters, and all of the rest of the mom-readers out there. Mother’s Day here was nothing unusual. We were trying to recover from having company, but I didn’t feel like tackling the mountain of laundry or sorting out toys. I felt pretty crappy all day with a sinus headache and sore throat but everyone else is doing OK. My Mother’s Day gift was getting to go to bed at 9PM last night.

We enjoyed our dinner out on the patio again. We grilled some cheeseburgers and enjoyed the nice weather.

It should have been ice cream truck night, but he was off for the holiday. We had to get out our own treats.

Happy Mother’s Day!

We are sad to have to say goodbye to family again, we really loved having Uncle Jon, Aunt Shannon, and Kieran here for the week.

They arrived with three suitcases and left with four! Trevor was trying to smoosh everything down to fit!

There wasn’t room to take home a Brendan or a Trevor. But Kieran will be thrilled when he gets home to find that his favorite cube and “beads everywhere!” game went with him! We sent a bunch of other toys too!

I got to rock a little Kieran for a nap one last time. It was really interesting to watch the mom-jealousy at play with all three boys this week. Trevor was very clear today that he wanted me to put Kieran down.

We propped him on a pillow and his new minky dinosaur blanket before his flight home.

We parked at the airport and Trevor and I rode the Sky Train to the terminal to say goodbye.

On the train back to the car, Trevor was already asking where Kieran went.

Everyone is truly exhausted. Kieran had a seriously drippy nose this morning, Brendan’s chest is still yucky, and I am feeling like something is trying to take root in my sinuses too. Brendan had a horrible restless night last night which kept me up with only 10-15min bursts of sleep. I really hope everyone gets a good night of rest tonight!

We had to get in one more afternoon of sprinkler and bubbles. Trevor decided to skip napping today so he was extra cranky. Getting outside is sometimes the only solution.

Trevor had a red popsicle tonight, but he must have thought it was red chapstick. His whole face was red, the picture doesn’t even capture it.

Kieran took a bath for almost a whole hour, trying to enjoy his last bath with cousins for a long time. He is a water baby too! He is finally getting into a good sleep routine here, just in time to go home. 🙁
