Year 3 – Week 3 – Day 2

It was an exciting day for Trevor today. Bill took him on an outing to do his first desert “hiking” trip! He took some great pictures too.

Trevor loves rocks and dirt. He claims this rock for Trevorland!

He doesn’t care about the scenery, he is just looking for cool rocks

He is channeling his inner mountain goat

Brendan and I stayed home and played and worked on mass onesie production. I made three today and spent some time developing an idea for a g-tube pouch/pocket. I got a prototype done, it has to go through the laundry and then we will see how it works tomorrow!

Brendan loves to practice his walking in the evening. He is getting more stable every day.

Year 3 – Week 3 – Day 1

It was a busy busy day of running errands. We dropped off about 6 big garbage bags full of clothes and shoes and stuff at the Salvation Army, it felt really good to de-clutter. Trevor and I hit Target and I let him walk without a cart. He explored the entire store, but behaved very well. I got my exercise and wore him out too.

The nice thing about Target is that Trevor knows where to find the vacuum isle. If I ever were to lose track of him, I would know where to go to find him. 😉

He is currently obsessed with all things blue. He points out the blue vacuums.

He is such a good helper. He had to carry in the watermelon that he picked out.

Brendan is modeling a new onesie that is hand made by his Mommy! It took me four tries to get it right, but I now have a good pattern and I can make him a bunch. Why onesies at his age? He has a horrible habit of scratching his back and his g-tube button when he is anxious and he scratches himself all red. He is too tall for anything I can find so I had to make them custom!

He was having fun with this dollar store cowboy hat tonight too

“Howdy, ma’am!”

“There’s a snake in my boot!”

Year 3 – Week 2 – Day 7

I am too tired for much of a blog today. I had big plans to get things done, but trying to work on projects with Trevor around is like trying to knit a sweater with a litter of kittens on your lap. I got a sewing project done, but it is REALLY terrible compared to what I had envisioned. Inability to focus and constant interruption make everything a big challenge.

The boys were good, just needy and hyper. I will take the frustration of needy and hyper over sick any day.

Trevor loves to be outside with trucks, dirt, and rocks

He discovered a new way to load rocks

Brendan signs “swing”

“please”

The worst part of fun projects is the big cleanup. The mess awaits.
