It started out as a normal day. Brendan had one of the best nights ever. He slept like a rock the whole night, alarms were almost nonexistent. I still couldn’t get much sleep, but he was awesome!
The boys were just playing trucks and from outside there was a “crash!!!”

A little gust, hardly more than a breeze, is all it took to knock over the street light out in front of our house!

As to the cause, hypotheses vary. Neighbor weed-whacking too aggressively? Neighborhood dog is actually a disguised alien with acid for pee? Robot beavers? It seemed totally random.

It made for an interesting afternoon though. Trevor liked the police lights and the “fixer guy truck”

As much as he noted the events in the street, he was totally absorbed in digging in the dirt. He even declined a trip to IKEA and said “Mommy go IKEA without you. Trevor dig in dirt.”

Trevor is the king of bed-head

He wanted lots of pretzels today.

Tomorrow is Gramma day! It is hard to believe that it has been nearly six months since she was able to visit last. We are all very excited for her to escape the snow and come be where it is going to hit 90’s next week!
