Year 3 – Week 36 – Day 4

I needed a break from the camera today, so I didn’t take any pictures. It was 112 degrees, and we ran errands. It wipes you out pretty quickly. Still, I would rather deal with that than the tornado warnings and severe storms pounding through the midwest. We hope everyone stays safe and dry.

Trevor had to come with me to FedEx to ship some more ebay stuff. We have been trying for months and months to purge old things from the house and scrape up money for one of these:

It is the most expensive piece of rolly luggage we have ever bought, even if you include putting a laptop in one. This portable oxygen concentrator is only 10lbs, can be carried on the shoulder and it is Brendan’s ticket to freedom for camping and travelling.

Year 3 – Week 36 – Day 3

We tried something new today – marshmallow architecture. Surprisingly, Trevor gagged when he tasted them and got pretty upset when they got sticky on his fingers. Brendan was more interested in pulling them apart and even got sticky goo all over his hands.

ME: “Trevor, where is your milk cup?”
TREVOR: “I put it in cupholder.”

Trevor was actually typing first and Brendan demanded a turn by spinning the chair around so that Trevor was away from the keyboard. Trevor just yelled, “Oh noooo! My work!!!”
Brendan could sell anything with his cutie face, he works hard.

Other than the normal grocery shopping, the only other event was taking the whole family to Sam’s Club. Brendan likes to get out, he makes a break for the car if he thinks Trevor is about to go somewhere.
Trevor asked all morning to go to the airport. He said we had to pick up Gramma. I sure hope that he didn’t know something I didn’t, I talked to Gramma today!

We were walking outside to see if the ice cream truck had come by yet and Trevor had his two dollars in hand. As I opened the door, I saw the truck leave our street around the corner. Noooooo! Talk about disappointment… at bedtime, he was still saying that we had to go search for the truck and listen.

Year 3 – Week 36 – Day 2

How can this possibly go wrong?

I don’t have much to write tonight, it was a fairly plain day. We shopped for medical equipment, watched cartoons, ate, slept, and beat each other up with pool noodles.
The boys played nice…

…until I try to be on the phone and then the tackling starts, then the wildness, then the crying.

I am in denial about June being almost over!
