Year 3 – Week 46 – Day 5 – PART 2 – The Pictures

I couldn’t get through all of this last night, and I still have heavy eyelids this morning but I can’t go back to bed!

These pictures are from the morning of the service. Shannon and I split the time for the wake so that we would take turns watching the three crazy boys. My turn in the morning was a lot of fun, we all ran around outside. There is nothing like three adorable little guys to help lighten the mood.

They were doing a little construction on Gramma’s new deck.

Nobody will hire me as a babysitter, I let toddlers run with chain saws!

And I let them perform auto-appendectomies with jig saws

They were all very good for me, boy was I lucky!

Brendan was so happy to see us come home! We are happy to be home and I hope that we can get things back to routine and settled down for a while now. We are all exhausted!

Year 3 – Week 46 – Day 5

Grandma Bobbie had a beautiful service this morning and I am very glad I was there. I am proud of my brave nieces who read and performed in front of the crowd and wrote a very touching tribute.
I am proud of Heather and Shannon for reading on behalf of Mom and all of us sisters.

Trevor and I had a terrible hassle at the airport, but we made it home. I a, beyond exhausted and can not keep my eyes open to add pictures. I will have to upload everything tomorrow.

Year 3 – Week 46 – Day 4

I am too tired to try to sum up the day so I will let the pictures do most of the talking.

Arizona has been slammed with record-breaking rain and flooding. 5.2 inches overnight! It is still raining today, our backyard is totally flooded.

On top of that, our air conditioning went out. Bill had to take Brendan out to the trailer to “chill” in the A/C out there.

We have a most generous and amazing friend who drove from North Phoenix to climb on to the roof tonight and take a look at the problem. One fan motor later and the AZ boys are back to chillin’ inside. We are beyond grateful to you, Mike!
