Sure enough, no antibiotics and no morning challenges for Brendan. He was pretty comfortable. I got there around 6:30a and held him until almost 11:00a. He wasn’t smiley, but he seemed relaxed.

Brendan seems to have discovered his fingers, not that they haven’t been working for him all this time for tube pulling. They must just have a mind of their own!

No PRNs today, just a little tylenol in the afternoon so they could change the dressing on his PICC line. He was deeply asleep when I put him back in to bed. He did a five hour sprint on the vent today! At the end, he was showing signs of being tired and working a little harder to breathe but it is still progress. It is a slow training getting his muscles conditioned to breathe on his own again.

Trevor gets more and more active every day. He is seriously teething now, I just expect little teeth to pop through any time. He has on his nice summery shorts that Gramma bought him, I love the plaid cement truck.
