There are TONS of pictures today.
First I want to wish my mom the happiest Mother’s Day. I am also excited to say that this is the first year that all of my sisters and I are celebrating the joy of motherhood. I love my nieces and nephews so much! Happy Mother’s Day to my Grandma, my sisters-in-law and all my friends and extended family. I hope it was a great day for everyone!
Even though I had to do things like clean the bathroom and change a trach today, I am still so appreciative of today. Last Mother’s Day, we spent the majority of the day at the hospital. We have come so far!

The boys were VERY cranky this morning and I thought they were going to just be mean to me all day with their whining and crabbiness. But after they got up from their naps, they were silly, happy, and ready to play! It was hot outside so we set up the baby pool for Trevor.

Trevor has now completely overcome his fear of the grass and will walk around in it just fine.

Brendan says, “I am staying dry in the shade!”

He had a great afternoon and we were able to turn his oxygen down from 4L to 3L!

“I am going to climb this rock wall!”

“Or maybe I will just go up the slide!”

I really enjoyed having all my boys playing outside today!

Trevor goes down the slide all by himself now, he doesn’t want help!

Brendan loves to be in the castle

…when Trevor is not in the way!

Inside, Brendan cruises along all the furniture. I am even getting him to reach out and transition to me.

I realized right before bed that it was Mother’s Day and the boys didn’t have any pictures with their mother! I just used the “Photo Booth” app on the computer to try to get some pictures but the boys were less than cooperative! Trevor wanted nothing to do with it, while Brendan found the whole thing hysterical. He loves seeing himself on the screen!

I hope Brendan continues to improve. When we put him on his vent tonight, he was making me giggle with all of the singing that he was doing. Instead of letting the vent fill his lungs, he was blowing the pressure out of his mouth and making the funniest sounds. He is finally in bed! Good night!
