Year 2 – Week 34 – Day 6

It is a Trevor-pictures day today, he had some big outings while Brendan had a nurse to take care of him.

Right after breakfast, we hit the sidewalk and went to Bailey’s house.

Trevor loves Maggie-Moo

He was initially not sure about the pool, the water was chilly to first get in

“This thermometer says 85, but it is still cold at first!”

He acclimated

He’s taking a break to sun-bask on the deck to warm up

Pool noodles are serious work

Swimming with Gramma

Tuesday means he can’t miss the garbage truck

He tries to show Gramma how amazing it is

Brendan had a good day too, just less adventurous. He loves to read his books

He got plenty of cuddles from Gramma too

He got a little hyper in his bath tonight and was splashing like a crazy!

We got oxygen refills, did an art project, and ran all around town shopping today too. We had to make the most of Gramma’s last day in town. Tomorrow we go to the airport first thing in the morning! We will all miss her very much!

Year 2 – Week 34 – Day 5

It seems like the boys get something new every day. I actually bought a pack of ball-pit balls a while ago and just now got them out to play. The baby pool makes the perfect place for them!
Trevor was interested at first, but then when Brendan wanted to get in to play, Trevor decided that he wanted nothing to do with it.

Brendan was just as happy to play by himself. He LOVED it!

It is good to hear his voice again, and his giggling! He wore his PMV for a few hours today, and he is turned down to 2L and doing well.

Worn out!

Even though it is 110 degrees in the day time, the boys still want to be outside. They love to swing, especially when we turn the misters on.

Climbers!

I guess he is checking the wind direction

Sprinkler time, naked!

Getting them to come back inside is tough, but they eventually have fun there too

Year 2 – Week 34 – Day 4 – Happy Father’s Day!

A very happy Father’s Day to all of our father friends and family! A super happy Father’s Day to Bill!

The boys were trying to be mini-daddies today, building and using tools.

Brendan is blowing kisses, Trevor is blowing raspberries

They thought they were turning out hand made adirondack chairs.

Video of cuteness:

It was my mission to get “portraits” of the boys with Bill for father’s day and with Gramma before she left. We set up and as usual, Brendan was Mr. Photogenic. He was cooperative and smiley and hilarious. Trevor was less than enthusiastic and rebelled with gusto. I thought the whole photo shoot was a flop, but we ended up with a good number of keepers!

Brendan just doesn’t take a bad photo

Trevor had a few good moments!

Daddy and his boys!! Some seriously awesome pictures of my three favorite guys!

Mommy didn’t get good shots, the boys were too wiggly

They were good enough to get some super cute pictures with Gramma!

How do you know when a photo shoot is really over?

Subtle clues

It was all a great effort by Bill, Gramma, and the boys to help me get such awesome photos. Gramma was getting them new outfits at 7:30am today, it paid off. They are too CUTE!!
