It was a very stressful day for us. Starting out getting completely doused with sour formula vomit didn’t help. Brendan had a bad day keeping his food down, but otherwise his day went well.
Getting all of Quinn’s belongings packed was sad. He got picked up at 1PM and went to meet the new family. We just had to wait. Later in the evening, we heard that everything went well and that they were going to keep him there tonight. That is the best news we could have heard in this situation. It will be a good place for him. Many thanks to Bailey for watching him for three nights. I am glad she gets relief too.
That this all worked so well so fast still makes me nervous, but for now, we will just try to move on.
We tried to exercise the boys with some yardwork. Afternoon naps are starting to slip away and we try to increase morning activity to help keep them! Trevor discovered the leaf blower/vacuum and of course, he wanted to help.

Brendan would rather push the trike around. They are still not big enough to sit and pedal it. Trevor can almost do it.

Trevor likes to play in the neighbor’s yard.

The boys like to walk. Trevor has started darting away and running so we have to be so careful. He does very well knowing not to walk in the street.

Brendan is getting more confident about trying to touch and lick things

We finally found more of his favorite honey mustard pretzels

Too much stress and work to do led to Wendys for dinner. Trevor got to enjoy the last free Frosty from his coupon book.

I am so ready for a day without vomit and anxiety. I really wish I could get one solid night of sleep.
