Year 3 – Week 26 – Day 4

I am grateful for the entertainment provided today by the installation of the new street lamp. It made Monday a little smoother.

We heard the first truck show up during breakfast and so we went outside. Trevor went straight back to his gardening project.

This is why the new gate has no horizontal bars or footholds of any kind.

After having a few excellent days and even doing well all morning, Brendan had a massive vomit this evening. I suspect it may be his probiotic again, so we will stop it for a while. He does not seem to do well on any brand.

Year 3 – Week 26 – Day 3

Happy Easter!

I bought a bunch of stuff to do a little egg hunt and we were going to decorate eggs and do paintings and such, but it all didn’t happen. We just had a day that with busy with normal life, housework, grocery shopping, laundry, ebay stuff, and play time.

I was trying to get some things done online, but my boys had other plans. If I get out my laptop, they both want to be in my lap typing. I entertained them for a short time with taking silly pictures of ourselves.

I didn’t expect the ice cream truck to come this week, but just in case, we went outside anyway. He did not come this week. The boys played with dirt anyway.

Year 3 – Week 26 – Day 2

It was a GeoTraxxy kind of day, it kept the boys busy. Brendan had a stellar night and slept right through. We have slowly transitioned him back to full formula and he didn’t throw up once today. I don’t know if it was a fast mild bug or something else. Trevor showed very minor symptoms like he may be fighting something, but he was normal today too.

The boys got to try their first Cadbury egg. As you can imagine, it was popular with Trevor. He came up to me after his nap and said “more chocolate eggs? yes. ok.”

When it was cracked open, the fun was over. Trevor begged for Brendan’s egg too. I only let Trevor eat less than half of his own! It was enough!

We spent the whole day trying to organize and photograph and post some things on ebay. It is a lot of work with the boys “helping”.

Then Trevor had to go and change the game:

I am sure he could have done this a long time ago, but it never occurred to him to try. Tonight, he just walked up to the gate and did it like he has been doing it all along. He must have just paid attention.
