Year 3 – Week 25 – Day 5

I decided to stay up late last night to see and photograph the lunar eclipse. If you missed it (or missed seeing these pictures I posted earlier on other social media outlets), then here are my shots.

I thoroughly enjoyed having a chance to use my camera for something more technical than chasing toddlers, but I paid the price today for staying up. We had to get up early to get Gramma to the airport. We left the house at 6:45am. She made it home safely, I got back from the airport before Trevor woke up so he never knew I was gone.

I was just so tired and had zero patience for the whining, fighting, and barfing. I just wanted to scream for it all to stop!

It was not entirely a bad day and we got some big things accomplished. I have a bunch of photos that I am going to save for tomorrow when I am more able to look at a computer screen without nodding off.

Year 3 – Week 25 – Day 4

Monday can’t help being Monday even with extra hands here. As we tried to cram in all of the things we needed to get done on Gramma’s last day, the day just flew by with boys fighting, yelling, crashing, whining, and having therapy. It is hard to get anything done.

It wasn’t one of Trevor’s best moods today

I sneaked a spy cam picture of Gramma rocking Trevor. We have to leave for the airport early tomorrow so he will probably still be in bed. Brendan was a stinker all week and wouldn’t let her rock him. He cried, ran away and hid from his therapists today. At least he didn’t treat her like that.

We are always grateful to have Gramma here, and we hoped she would be able to relax. Instead, she works her butt off helping with the boys and cleaning and still taking care of things across the country. She is one hard-working Gramma. We look forward to the next visit, and still hope she can relax!!

Year 3 – Week 25 – Day 3

I almost have as many pictures today as yesterday!

We started out with a trip to Lowes to pick up some more supplies for Bill’s project. Trevor thinks it is a toy store. He likes the blue lawnmower!
325t19

He has always been fascinated by grills

After nap time, it was time for a haircut! Trevor got sprayed down.
325t22

I strapped his high chair seat to the pedestal table to give Gramma the best angles for his whole head. It worked great!
325t23

He had lots of funny faces, but he really did a great job sitting still and waiting. We occasionally gave him a dark chocolate mint m&m to keep him happy!

While Gramma worked on his hair, Trevor detailed some of his trucks with the little tiny brush that came with the clippers.

It is a perfect haircut to start the hot summer (and I love Brendan’s lounging)

Daddy got a haircut too, they match!

I had to set a reminder on my phone to tell me that Sunday around 6pm is ice cream truck time. We were waiting for it today.

Brendan really enjoyed a popsicle too! I was so happy that they sat nicely together to have a treat.

Trevor is dealing with bouts of rashy spots and rosy cheeks. He flared up with bumps and rash again after being outside in the grass. I thought he had a sunburn yesterday, but it went away so fast. We are going to have to be watching carefully to try to pinpoint what is bothering him.

We want to wish a very happy birthday to cousin Ashley who turned TEN today! Big birthday hugs to you, Ashley!
