We made it home! I am totally wiped out, but so glad to be with all my boys again.

Trevor’s carry-on bags were all ready this morning.

He had to say all of this goodbyes.

He did a great job on the plane. I thought he would fall asleep twice, he was so tired. But he stayed awake and just lounged and played the whole trip. Everyone sitting around us told him he did an awesome job, they were impressed.

Brendan had some fun with candy today.

Brendan was very happy to see me and Trevor. He even toddled up to Trevor and tried to give him a kiss. Trevor was happy to see his dogs, but he was nice to Brendan too.

What a week!

It was a strange day for Trevor. He ran a low-grade fever on and off all day and was just not himself. He was so tired, needy, restless, and just didn’t know what to do with himself. He had his last dose of steroid tonight, so hopefully he will start to improve from here.

We all felt cooped up so I mentioned walking around the mall. Trevor heard and then INSISTED that we go to the mall. He kept saying “mall mall go go go”
He saw the cool train, even though it wasn’t running.

He loves escalators

He wanted nothing to do with Santa Claus or any of the elves or snowmen

He will whisper to Gramma what he wants for Christmas instead

Bill sent me adorable, healthy, happy Brendan pictures. I am so glad to see both my boys, I am missing them very much!

We will be getting on an airplane tomorrow. (Third time’s the charm?) I think Trevor might try to pack Gizmo in his carry on, we will have to double check his bags.

It was another day of just trying to rest and heal. Gramma and Grampa both are suffering with the symptoms of this terrible cold bug. We ran a few errands this morning for groceries but otherwise it was an uneventful day.

There is another reason why Trevor wants to open the pantry

“Just one!”

The steroid medication that Trevor is taking makes his little cheeks get super pink. He was a bit crazy, a bit clumsy, and super tired today. He is doing a little better, but he is definitely not himself.

He likes for me to close the shower doors so he can do a “car wash”. If only he could reach more than the bottom foot of the doors!

Brendan and Daddy were super busy today. Bill is trying to do some work while taking care of Brendan. There was an oxygen refill today too. Someone gave Brendan a screwdriver and he is ready to use it.

I still have not shaken this congestion and coughing. I hope everyone gets to feeling better FAST.
